Third Annual Deb Snead Memorial Golf Event:
Toronto Board of Trade Golf Club

Canadian Association of Women Executives and Entrepreneurs and the Women’s Law Association of Ontario (WLAO) had a wondering time at the Third Annual Deb Snead Memorial Golf Event.

There was ample opportunity for business executives, entrepreneurs and lawyers to broaden their perspectives and to connect and explore mutual areas of interest. “This event provided an opportunity for professional women to exchange ideas and experiences, say Elissa Gamus, WLAO President. I also met a ton of wonderful and interesting women also won a prize. Although my swing did not improve, I had a great time. I am looking forward to next year (and a better golf swing) and more events with CAWEE!”

Judy Smiley CAWEE President, mentioned that not only did “she meet a lot of new people, landed a new project, booked a speaker for an upcoming event, and won a fabulous prize-she actually improved her golf game and got a bit of a tan”.

We would like to thank the Women’s Law Association of Ontario and all the Event Coordinators for a job well done. Please visit www.cawee.net for highlight pictures from this event and notices about upcoming events. We hope to see you all again next year!

CAWEE members share their unique world of energy, expertise, ideas and experience at events like these throughout the year.

“Broaden your Perspective” is the vision of the associations’ members, who come together collectively to share their stories and grow through their associations. Personal and professional development begins with effective networking and marketing. Because women operate differently in the business world, they need to establish trust in themselves and in their network of contacts. To make this happen, CAWEE encourages businesswomen to connect with each other to gain new insights and build long-term relationships. Membership in CAWEE offers different perspectives, different educational opportunities, different networking events and different approaches to expanding the world within you.
