According to Lana Duke, “You can build an international brand from scratch!” The secret of Ruth’s Chris’ success was shared at a gala dinner last week, attended by business women from three national groups: Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT), Women in Food Industry Management (WFIM) and The Canadian Association of Women Executives & Entrepreneurs (CAWEE). The networking that took place was just the beginning of the sizzle felt throughout the evening.

Lana Duke’s presence filled the room as soon as she entered the room. Just by first glance, you felt her passion, power and determination.

“If you stop learning about your job”, says Ms. Duke, “If you stop asking questions, if you stop being interested in business, it’s time to take a break and get refreshed, or to go on to something else.”
