CAWEE suffered a great loss in June with the passing away of one of its founding members Elizabeth Tower. The impact it had on all of us shows that CAWEE is not just another women’s networking organization, but one where true relationships develop and last a lifetime. The CAWEE board is currently working hard at creating an organization that benefits its members and is tenaciously trying uncover what makes CAWEE so unique as a women’s networking group. We have seen just by the impact our members make on each other and the community as a whole that we do have a special place in the networking arena. For me the bonds that I have with other CAWEE members and the long lasting relationships that have developed cannot be replicated in any other organization.
