In 2003, as part of our outreach program, the Canadian Association of Women Executives and Entrepreneurs introduced the Association Affiliation program. The purpose of this program is to create a mechanism to link businesswomen from across the country in various disciplines and professional associations. The end result is a solid network of professional women with a unified voice supporting the needs of Canadian businesswomen nationwide.

There is no fee for affiliation. The related organization just needs to pass a motion to be associated with CAWEE. The relationship is mutual, in that CAWEE would also need to pass a motion to accept affiliation with the other organization.

Our current affiliates include:

Types of Organizations that Qualify For Affiliation

1. Any businesswomen’s or professional women’s organization
    across Canada.

2. Any business organization comprising more than 40%
    businesswomen and interested in being connected to a
    businesswomen’s network for the benefit of their women
    members, is eligible to be affiliated with CAWEE.

Benefits of Affiliation

Affiliate members will have access to the CAWEE ‘members only’ section of our web site. Here affiliates will be able share ideas, resources, and opinions on business issues with a particular woman’s perspective.

The ‘members only’ section has a search capability to find resources, skills, companies and professional services in the site. Affiliate members would be profiled in our ‘members only’ directory, and therefore would become a part of our search engine.

Affiliate members are given preferential advertising rates and company profile options on our site. Affiliate organizations are also able to show CAWEE’s logo on their material indicating they are affiliated with CAWEE.
